ZLINE Kitchen and Bath The Gathering Lookbook

An exploration of mid-century modern interiors

Concept

With limitations to what 3D rendering can produce, each Lookbook explores how interiors can suggest human presence through objects, materials, and spatial arrangement alone. The Gathering Lookbook depicts a cocktail party with the backdrop of a Mid-century modern household.

Source Material

My research focused on mid-century interiors, materials, and architectural composition, drawing from both archival and contemporary sources.

Material Studies and Spatial Collage

I used collage to translate my research into spatial compositions, establishing visual and aesthetic direction for the 3D render artist.

Constructed Environments

Final environments were developed with a render artist through refinement of composition, material detail, and lighting.
